Hey dolls! So I have had natural hair since the day I came out my mother's womb ... But here's the thing all I did was wear protective styles or put my hair back or up in a bun every single day. Some times for a change I would do twists outs (really small ones) or bantu knots. However, recently I was at work and my co-worker Petrina Pink http://blackgirlshorthair.tumblr.com told me about this amazing product the Eco Styler Olive Oil Styling Gel. At first I was like ok then just a normal gel but then she went on to tell me how I could do my hair using Eco Styler, I was very excited to try the Olive Oil product because I had used the clear and dark Eco products before ... Eco Styler Olive Oil Styling Gel is AWESOMENESS!
- It is thick and has a great smell not fruity or girly but a nice strong smell.
- When used with leave-in conditioner it doesn't flake (if your gonna use it without a leave-in ensure you have some oil and water in a spray bottle for moisture)
- The sheen is out of this world, u could probably see yourself in your hair ... hahaha. It also locks in moisture so your hair is not dried out.
- The hold is one in a million, the styler I bought is maximum hold. On a scale of one to ten it is 10
- It's light and not heavy on the head.
- Shrinkage is beautiful..tightly coiled spiraled curls is the result I get.
Because I have a lot of hair, I got the 5lb bucket (J$1060). But the small and medium products are available. Quite a few stores and wholesales in Jamaica have Eco styler but I only found one store that has the olive oil styler; Nicole's Beauty Supplies in York Plaza, Half Way Tree. It is a really good product, the best of all the Eco stylers I've used. I am on my second 5lb bucket now and there is no turning back. I have attached pics of my hair and the products I used.
