Deep Treatment #4 

hey y'all, due to issues with our internet I was unable to post the deep treatments I've been doing so I'll put both in this one post.

So I started off with my trusty VO5 Free Me Freesia mixed with Tresemme and left it on  for a few hours, I detangled (HATE this part) and then I washed and did an ACV rinse which works well for my hair, no complaints yet! and condition then styled.

For this one I did not do the ACV (i forgot) but pre-pooed this time with coconut oil, and did an oil rinse. I have to say I will add the oil rinse to my deep treatments now my hair instantly felt softer and was much more manageable.

Pre-Pooing

Pre-Pooing (pre-shampooing) is something most naturals do to help retain or get lots of moisture to their hair before shampooing. It also helps to protect whatever moisture you have in your hair just in case the shampoo strips your hair of its moisture. Shampooing natural hair often (well in my case) tends to strip my hair too much and leaves my hair feeling, and sounding "squeaky". When Pre-Pooing, you can apply any oils or products that adds moisture to your hair for a few hours minuets, or overnight before you shampoo. I normally use coconut oil/olive oil mix. I warm the oils (for a deeper penetration) and mix in rosemary and lavender oil if I feel the need to. I leave that on for like 30 mins to an hour then I wash and condition and air dry ( when I blow dry, it leaves my hair frizzy)

Recently I have decided to leave in the oils overnight vs. a few hours to see If there is a difference I'll let you know the results! What is your Pre-Pooing regime?
