I recently trimmed my hair because over the past couple of months, I noticed that I can't put a comb or my hands in my hair without it breaking. I am plagued with single strand knots, weathered tangled ends, and breaking strands.
I decided to look at what I was doing to my hair and my routine and I realized:
With all of that my hair still grew to just above the armpit but I trimmed them because I knew that if I didn't, them I was be sacrificing all the length I so dearly desire.
After the trim I noticed that I still have some weathered ends and knots but I'll do my best to get rid of them over time. I will also be trying Henna for the first time!

I decided to look at what I was doing to my hair and my routine and I realized:
- I don't wash regularly
- I rearly deep treat
- I don't seal my ends properly or enough
- I don't detanlge properly
- and I may be too rough with the comb
With all of that my hair still grew to just above the armpit but I trimmed them because I knew that if I didn't, them I was be sacrificing all the length I so dearly desire.
Do those look good?
I will tweak my routine to include regular washing, deep treatments, sealing a good balance of protein and moisture. I also will be using Kimmaytubes leave-in exclusively. I'm done with all the big name brands that do nothing for my hair. Her leave-in works great in my hair I don't know why I even stopped using it.....After the trim I noticed that I still have some weathered ends and knots but I'll do my best to get rid of them over time. I will also be trying Henna for the first time!
My hair before the trim
My hair after the trim. Im going to see how I can hid my ends, though it may be hard seeing that my hair is short.
I personally don't see much of a difference so I didn't freak about losing any length . I am going to attempt to do more styles ( I tend to give easily on hairstyles so I just stick to one) and experiment a little. updates soon!
