Eco Styler Clear Vs. Eco Styler Olive Oil ~ Product Review

Sooooooo. Its been a looooooooooong time since I've been on the blog. My apologizes peeps. Life can get pretty hectic and the blog took a backseat for a while, but now I'm back and will be updating when I can.

SO! on to the review!

Eco Styler Clear

I used this Eco Styler for wash and go's (which did a number on my hair, but that's another post) I loved the hold it gave me but was not a fan of how my hair felt after it dried.
It made my hair feel a little "hard" and "crunchy" if you will, even though I added a leave-in condish, but I got some definition, with it (due to my non-existant curl pattern) I did get second day hair with this product, and I had to reapply on the third day, even though there was some left over in my hair.

Bottom line:

This worked well for my wash and go's and I got up to third day hair with it, I just had to add a bit of water, brush and go. Though I did not like the crunchy feel it gave my hair.

Eco Styler with Olive Oil

I recently found out that this one was availabe here in Jamaica from Criskels. Man I was soo excited! 'cus It takes months for certain products to reach our shores, so you KNOW I hads to get this! I got a sample size for around $140 JAD, thats around USD$1.65 which isn't bad. Lately I've been doing a lot of twist outs due to my damaged hair, and I began using this product for that. CHILE!!!! this is the biz niz! this left NO crunchy hard feeling in my hair at all!, my twists came out nice and soft, and I was able to seperate them without them getting frizzy. I got second and third day hair with this also.

Bottom line:

I prefer this Eco Styler over the first one by far!. I didn't need to use a leave-in condish under this, and I STILL had soft shiny hair. I will defo be purchasing the larger size to this one!

Hope that review helped someone!

  1. I have curly hair that's not thick. I have tried both and I currently buy only the white. Because the olive oil one dosent give me the hold I am looking for. I only use gel when slicking my hair back while wet so the white does a good job the other one would have me with frizz by the time it's dry specially in the summer. But my sister twist her hair often and she loves it cause she gets better results with the green one as I call it.
